Point Defense Lasers are weapons found on Covenant ships. They are mainly used to shoot incoming Archer missiles. According to John-117, they were "Too damn accurate."[1] They may function similarly to Pulse Laser Turrets.
Not much else is known about the Point Defense Laser, other than that the Covenant must have adapted the technology from the Forerunners at some point in their history. In all probability, they are simply a less powerful version of the Pulse Laser Turret, adapted to shoot down incoming enemy projectiles, fighters, and boarding craft.
