Spartan-III Alpha Company was the first company of SPARTAN-IIIs.
Summary
Spartan-III Alpha Company was the first company of Spartan-III to be trained. This group originally had 497 trainees recruited between the age of four, five, and six year olds orphaned by Covenant attacks on various colonies including Jericho VII, Harvest, and Biko, however only 300 remained in active engagement service. They were tested on the night they were sent, and are instructed to paradrop to the designated pickup location. They then started training at Camp Currahee on Onyx by Lieutenant Commander Kurt Ambrose, a SPARTAN-II, on December 27, 2531. They went active in November of 2536. They have a compaign of "a crack battalion, not a company of three hundred". However, every single one of them died during Operation: PROMETHEUS, but halted a massive Covenant shipyard in the process.
