The UNSC Stalingrad was a UNSC Carrier in 2552. It was commanded by Admiral Carl "Buster" Patterson.[2]
Background
It was the flagship of a small task force sent to Onyx to retrieve Dr. Catherine Halsey and her Spartan-IIs and Spartan-IIIs. During the Battle of Onyx, the ship survived the first[3] and second[4] attacks on the Covenant fleet but was destroyed when overwhelming Covenant reinforcements arrived from Slipspace.[5]
