History

In 2552, Coral Sea saw action at the First Battle of Earth and the First Battle of Mombasa. She, the UNSC Dusk, UNSC Paris and UNSC Redoubtable were the only ships fast enough able to pursue the UNSC In Amber Clad and the High Prophet of Regret's Assault Carrier into Slipspace.

Coral Sea quickly outpaced Dusk during the chase and her current status is unknown.

Background

The UNSC Coral Sea may have been named after the World War 2 naval engagement.
