Sector K-009 is a sector of space in UNSC territory.
In 2551, the UNSC Hopeful was sent to this place so that surgeries could be done on the Spartan-III soldiers aboard while in relative secrecy.[1]
It was probably a remote area sinse it was chosen for secret testing of the Spartan III's.
