Eternal Spring was assigned to Onyx and the planetary survey team in the area of Zone 67. After Camp Currahee was established there, Eternal Spring agreed to devote nine percent of her runtime to the Spartan-III project.[1] She got along well with Spartan-051, who was happy for her help, despite his occasional theatrics. He helped in the training of the Spartan-III Alpha Company until she "died." He was then quickly replaced with another smart A.I., Deep Winter.[2]
