MAKO-class attack drones are a type of unmanned attack craft of Human design. MAKO drones are automated flying machines that carry large missiles to strike ground targets. They appear similar to Forerunner Sentinels at first but, are actually far less advanced than the ancient machines [1]. It is also possible the UNSC uses the MAKO's for reconnaissance as well as assault.
Some MAKO drones were taken and used by the United Rebel Front at Camp New Hope [2].
Trivia
- The word "Mako" for the drone is likely derived from the Mako Shark.
