Template:Ratings Camp New Hope was a facility located on the UNSC colony world of Victoria, in the 111 Tauri System. It was a base of operations for the United Rebel Front. It had an extensive defense system, even by Spartan standards, featuring motion and seismic detectors, a triple layerin of guards, Warthog APCs, trained dogs, and MAKO Drones. [1]
In 2531, the Rebels stole several FENRIS Nuclear Warheads and stashed them at Camp New Hope. A team of five Spartan-IIs was sent in and captured the Nukes, in the process killing General Howard Graves, a URF leader. It is unclear what became of the base since then.
Trivia
- In the novel Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, on page 31, it is referred to as Camp New Hope in the date/time stamp, but as Base New Hope later on that page.
