Template:Ship The UNSC Carrier is a classification of warship within the United Nations Space Command fleet.
Armament
UNSC Carriers are armed with Archer Missiles and probably have contingents of Longsword Interceptors, in fitting with their combat role, along with one or more Magnetic Accelerator Cannons.
Power
Based on evidence, it appears that UNSC Carriers are rarer than Marathon-class Cruisers, which instigates doubt that the Marathon classification is truly the most powerful warship classification in the UNSC fleet. This is additionally reinforced by the fact that UNSC Battle Group Stalingrad had a UNSC Carrier (the UNSC Stalingrad) as its flagship even when there was a Marathon-class Cruiser as well within the battlegroup.
Size
If the estimates are correct, then this ship may be 1.5 kilometers long; almost the length of a Covenant CCS-class Battlecruiser. In Ghosts Of Onyx, pg. 270,there is a sentence that states that a carrier is less than 3km long.
