Eric S. Trautmann is an American science fiction author associated with Microsoft projects. He also worked heavily on the Star Wars universe, co-authoring several pieces of Star Wars literary references. In addition, he began writing books for Xbox games starting with Crimson Skies, which he co-authored along with fellow Halo novelist Eric Nylund. He is the author of the book The Art of Halo.
