*Perhaps [[Harvest]] was the farthest colony from [[Earth]], ''in one direction''. By the way, [[Lambda Serpentis]] is an [[Outer Colonies|Outer Colony]]. The farthest UNSC colony yet known is [[Beta Centauri]], at five hundred or-so light years from Earth. This might seem a bit too far for UNSC slipspace drives, but if you do the maths it would take less than a year to reach that star.
