Template:FOF-1 Power Batteries are energy sources used by the Covenant.
Some of the Covenant's technology require larger power sources than can be self-contained. The Covenant's Holo-Pedestals and Communication Arrays can often be found linked to a nearby power battery to generate the power required for use. These power cells are highly volitile when exposed to weapons fire.
