The UNSC colony of Draco III was invaded by Covenant forces sometime before 2552. The Covenant never took prisoners, though, they herded Human survivors together were then ripped apart by ravenous Grunts and Jackals. The Spartan-II's watched this via satellite linkup and by the time they got there, there was no one left to rescue. The Spartans then killed the Covenant forces. [1]
