The UNSC colony of Draco III was invaded by Covenant forces sometime before 2552. The Covenant didn't take prisoners. The Covenant herded Human survivers together and they were ripped apart by ravenous Grunts and Jackals. The Spartans watched this via satellite linkup and by the time they got there, there was no one left to rescue, but the Spartans then killed the Covenant forces. [1]
