Rene was conscripted into the SPARTAN-II Program in 2517. Rene is not as well known as the Spartans such as John-117 or Linda-058. When the time came for the Spartan augmentations he became crippled and could not fight anymore. Crippled during surgical enhancements he was last known to be floating in a neural buoyancy gel tank, with his skeletal system twisted beyond recognition. The last time he was seen, was on the UNSC Carrier Atlas. His current where abouts are unknown. [1]
