One of the Marines stationed at Diego Garcia, McKenzie was from the 405th Marine Infantry Division. He, along with Staff Sergeant Banks, Corporal Perez, and the rest of A Company were sent to New Mombasa during The First Battle of Earth. While there, they met up with SPARTAN-117, and with his help, the Marines trapped and destroyed a Scarab walker.
