The Kestrel is a UNSC aircraft seen in the Halo 2 Collector's Edition disc. It was placed by modders into custom maps available only to Halo Custom Edition.
Trivia
- Since the Kestrel is an aircraft, it may have weapons similar to the Hornet's machine gun and missiles, and the Hornet itself. It may also be used to transport troops quickly if it has a troop bay, much like modern helicopters.
- In Halo CE the kestrel is often the name given to the DX-class dropship.
