Template:RealworldTemplate:Bstaff Joe Staten aka deckard is the writer and Director of Cinematics for both Halo 1 and Halo 2. He also does voices for many of the Grunts[1], and is keenly involved with the mission design/story team of Bungie.

Currently he is the main person involved with the writing of the Halo 3 script. He is also working on the Halo Movie, working closely with Peter Jackson to ensure that all of the planned Halo productions go well.
