History
Rise of humanity
Dwarka was colonized in 2460.[1]
An insurrectionist camp was once stationed on the planet, holding prisoners they interrogated for data against the UNSC.[7]
Around 2517 or so, the planet was still in the process of being terraformed.[3]
In 2524, future ONI Vice Admiral Gabriella Dvørak was stationed on the planet.[8]
Human-Covenant war
In 2530,[9] the planet was glassed by the Covenant[4] in the Siege of Dwarka.
Post-war
After the war, the fetcher Oliver Birch came across a relatively intact and abandoned colony ship among the planet's field of debris, CAA Butterworth. The only survivor aboard the ship was a three-legged dog, Mabel.[10]
Trivia
The planet is likely named after Dwarka, a city in India.
