Emblems and nameplates are an element of player customization within Halo Infinite that represent a player's identity. Emblems can be applied to player cards, armor, weapons, and vehicles.

By default, the player possesses an array of emblems to use for free, however, like armor coatings, there are other means to obtain emblems. They can be earned through Battle and Operation passes, challenges, promotional campaigns and bundles. Additionally, some emblems are exclusive for certain acts such as reaching SR-152 in Halo 5: Guardians, reaching a certain rank in Halo Infinite's ranked playlists, or for getting a piece of art featured in the Halo Community Spotlight.
