High Five is a specialised variant of the M57 Pilum shoulder-fired heavy weapon used by the United Nations Space Command.
Overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
- Main article: M57 Pilum
High Five is an improved M57 that fires experimental submunitions packages containing 9X-G High Explosive, Air Bursting (HEAB) Gyroc rockets more commonly used by the Hydra line of multiple-rocket launchers. The launcher's detachable box magazine still loads two rockets, like the M29 rockets used by standard M57 Pilums, but each contains five 9X-G submunitions within. The fired missiles can lock onto air and ground targets.[3]
Design-wise, it retains the standard Pilum's launching tube but recolors it to a predominantly white color broken up by olive green and red stripes, along with an olive green falcon emblem in the middle part of the weapon on each side.[4]
Usage[edit]
In late 2558, Spartan-IVs serving aboard the UNSC Infinity trained with the High Five in War Games simulations.[4]
In-game information[edit]
Halo 5: Guardians[edit]
- Main article: Rocket Launcher (gameplay) § Halo 5: Guardians
The High Five is an Ultra Rare energy Power Weapon REQ that grants 150 REQ Points when sold.
The M57 Pilum is featured as a usable weapon called the Rocket Launcher, in Halo 5: Guardians. It is a power weapon, which fires slow-moving rockets that deal an incredible amount of damage upon detonation, with a wide area of effect. The Rocket Launcher is one of the most powerful weapons in the game, and to compensate, it has a small magazine size, slow reload speed and ammo is generally very rare.
