Microsoft is an international computer technology corporation headquartered in Redmond, Washington, USA.

Software[edit]
Microsoft develops, manufactures, licenses, and supports a wide range of software products for computing devices. Its most popular products are the Microsoft Windows operating system and the Microsoft Office suite of productivity software, each of which has achieved near-ubiquity in the desktop computer market. The company also manufactures computer hardware products.
Xbox[edit]
The Xbox is a video gaming brand and entertainment platform created by Microsoft. As of the eighth generation of gaming consoles, three platforms have been released; the Xbox,[1] Xbox 360[2]Xbox One,[3] and the Xbox Series X/S.
Microsoft is also responsible for launching the online multiplayer service Xbox Live, as well as the motion sensor peripheral Kinect.
Subsidiaries[edit]
- Microsoft was formerly the parent company of Bungie, LLC, and is still the parent company of Wingnut Interactive.
- Microsoft Studios' internal team, 343 Industries, is responsible for creating new properties for the Halo franchise, which is also owned by Microsoft.
