Aengus is a Jiralhanae[Note 1] serving as a member of the Valorguards of the Chosen within the Banished,[Note 2] and formerly in the Covenant.[1]

Biography[edit]

During the Human-Covenant War, Aengus served onboard the Heresy's Sorrow, a Mutan Et-pattern storm cutter.[1] After the Covenant collapsed in 2552, his shipmaster, Inka 'Saham, struck a deal with War Chief Escharum, dedicating the ship and his crew to the Banished.[2] Aengus followed 'Saham in joining the Banished.[1]

Aengus was present during the Installation 07 conflict in 2560, being one of the many troops under 'Saham's command, notably having fought Forerunner sentinels alongside the Sangheili.[1]

Notes[edit]

  1. ^ a b Although their species is not confirmed, Aengus is likely a Jiralhanae due to their naming scheme.
  2. ^ a b Though not explicitly stated, since Aengus serves under Inka 'Saham's command and 'Saham is a member of the Valorguards of the Chosen, Aengus is likely also a member of the same mercenary group.
