A power weapon is a term used to describe high-powered weapons used in gameplay, often times referred as such in multiplayer.[1][2] These weapons, such as the M41 SPNKr and the S7 Sniper, are able to deal high amount of damage with one attack, allow players to attain kills—or even multiple kills—with ease. Subsequently, the advantage they offer are usually offset by a shortcoming, like a lengthy reload time or a limited range. They are usually found in a set spawn location on a multiplayer map.
