Trivia
The Mulzac-class transport is likely named after Hugh Mulzac, a captain within the United States Merchant Marine who became famous for being their first ever black captain. Additionally, he commanded the SS Booker T. Washington, a Liberty ship that would transport troops and supplies to the European front during World War II, which likely is the reason for Mulzac being the namesake of a transport vessel.
