The MEP-PU-2550D/E Generator is an air-transportable fusion-reactor generator that was used by the United Nations Space Command during their war with the Covenant. It is usually employed by the UNSC Army or the UNSC Air Force to meet their mobile power requirements, particularly in austere tactical environments where facility-integrated solar panels and wind turbines are insufficient or inappropriate.[1] The generator is integral to defense grids; destruction of the generator could compromise the UNSC's control over a sector.[2]
