As a swordsman, 'Sumai had the right to mate with any female he chose, and so fathered Usze 'Taham with the wife of a wealthy merchant from his own keep.[3][5] 'Sumai—under the guise of an uncle—aggressively trained 'Taham in swordsmanship for several years.[1]
Death
By March 2555, 'Sumai had passed away -[1] assassinated by his former student, Okro 'Vagaduun. 'Sumai's death was undertaken as part of 'Vagaduun's initiation process to join the Banished.
