Stormbreak is a mountain range on the planet of Kamchatka. The mountain range was considered to be "the broken spine" of Kamchatka by the Forerunners, who once inhabited the planet and mended Stormbreak. By the middle of the 26th century, Kamchatka was discovered by the United Nations Space Command. By 2558, the UNSC had begun establishing a military complex and power station to control the planet's Forerunner sites on the mountain range. A War Games simulation based on the mountains was later created by the UNSC.[1]

Stormbreak is the fictional basis for the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer map "March on Stormbreak".[1]
