Peril is the third track in Halo 2: Original Soundtrack, Volume 1.
The music was based on Perilous Journey from the Halo: Combat Evolved soundtrack, hence the name.[1] The music is centered around use of strings, and provides a tense atmosphere during sporadic combat sequences.
The piece was arranged into Jeopardy in the Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack.
Appearances
The soundtrack can be heard:
- At the start of the level Delta Halo, after the John-117 has cleared the initial defenses around the landing zone and immediately prior to the arrival of the Phantoms.
- In the level of Gravemind, when John-117 makes his way through the first Valley of Tears in High Charity.
