- "My pack will use you to play tossers."
- — A Jiralhanae chieftain to the Ferret team led by Veta Lopis.[1]
Tossers is a Jiralhanae game that involves the dismemberment of unwilling prisoners or other subjects.[1][2] It is concerned with knocking over opponents and the frequent loss of appendages results from the requirement that the unlucky subjects are tossed by their limbs.[3]
Castor and Orsun, battle chiefs of the Bloodstars, employed tossers in order to interrogate orbital drop shock troopers of the 21st Space Assault Battalion in 2526.[2] The game continued to be enjoyed by Jiralhanae of the Keepers of the One Freedom following the end of the Human-Covenant War.[1]
