The Avery J. Johnson Academy of Military Science is an military academy where members of the SPARTAN-IV program train. It is posthumously named after the Insurrection and Human-Covenant War veteran Avery Johnson, a member of the SPARTAN-I program, who was killed in action during the Raid on Installation 08 in late 2552.[1]
