The Haven arcology was an arcology located in the Mato Grosso province on Mamore.[1][2]
History
In 2511, a suicide bomber affiliated with the Freedom and Liberation Party loaded a commercial nuclear weapon along with several tons of scrap Cadmium into a rental truck before detonating it in the promenade of the Haven arcology. The blast killed two million people and injured a further 8.3 million. Millions more were expected to die due to cancers and other diseases caused by the radioactive fallout, as well as cause birth defects for generations afterwards.[2]
Following the attack, the Freedom and Liberation Party claimed responsibility and demanded the Colonial Military Administration withdraw from the Eridanus sector.[2]
