Combat Team November was a UNSC Marine Corps unit.[1]

Background

"November" was stationed aboard the UNSC Pillar of Autumn in 2552. During the abandonment of the ship, their job was to hold off the Covenant boarders until all of the non-bridge operations personnel escaped in lifepods, and then retreat to an evacuation station aboard the ship to escape themselves. Unfortunately, Team November was cut down on their escape route by Covenant troops. Combat Teams Alpha through Sierra were evacuated after them.[1]

Trivia

"November" is the equivalent of the letter "N" in the Phonetic Alphabet.
