The Opening Suite is the first track in the Halo: Original Soundtrack.
Appearances
The soundtrack can be heard:
- During the appearances of Bungie's logo and the main menu of Halo: Combat Evolved.
- In the beginning cutscene of the campaign level The Pillar of Autumn.
- In the campaign level Two Betrayals, while John-117 is flying a Type-26 Banshee to the second phase pulse generator.
Reorchestrated Versions
Certain sections of the track is reorchestrated into the following:
- The Bungie logo sequence is remastered into Prologue of Halo 2: Original Soundtrack.
- Cold Blue Light in the Cairo Suite of Halo 2: Original Soundtrack.
- The entire track except for the Bungie logo section was reorchestrated into Random Slipspace Trajectory and Unreliable Exploration of the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Original Soundtrack.
