A high-tempo variation was incorporated into the second section of Ghost of Reach, and subsequently appeared in its Halo 3 rendition Black Tide in Dread Intrusion. The piece was reorchestrated into Second Prelude in Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack.

Trivia
*Weight Of Failure can be heard in the Halo 2 track Ghosts of Reach, and the its Halo 3 remake, Dread Intrusion.
*The title "Weight Of Failure" is likely a reference to Thel Vadam's loss of Installation 04 and how he had to become the Arbiter, as it is his theme.
