Hmmm I think its a lil early to say for sure that all first ships of its class are what its class is called. For example are we 100% sure the first Halcyon was called the "UNSC Halcyon"? I mean sure Loftus' info is good for a ship naming page for all confirmed examples of that. But I aint 100% happy with us creating pages based on that alone. By all means the first ship could be a Tribute name for example. So I am here to say unless confirmed 100% we delete all the pages of ships that have no external source to remain safe on that regard.-CIA391 (talk) 18:24, 20 September 2018 (EDT) | Hmmm I think its a lil early to say for sure that all first ships of its class are what its class is called. :For what it's worth, 343i uses the same system as many/all Navy's of the world use naming the class after the first ship of a new design. I've helped them with some internal documentation over the years and it still follows that format. If there's some noteworthy class ship, then I can see its entry on Halopedia, however, I don't see the point in creating pages wholesale for class vessels that have virtually no Halo fictional importance beyond they are the namesake of a class. The class name is a good organizational point for Halopedia ship articles, however. -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 19:40, 20 September 2018 (EDT) |
