How do we know it's an M6 variant?

I had the same debate in my mind when I made this article. But the Spartan Assault page called them this and it had a source so I assumed the source called it the M6 machine pistol.Sith-venator Wavingstrider

The hand guard seems to be identical to the ones found on other M6 models, and its outline is somewhat similar to the SOCOM, but that's all pretty speculative. Frogglesmash 9 April 2018
