Jay Weinland is a senior Bungie employee and currently the head of the audio department. He studied at Oberlin College and Conservatory for five years and then went on to teach as a high school orchestra teacher for another five years. He has been in the video game industry since at least 1996. He is a major aficionado of science fiction novels, sports, brass instruments, and beer...with beef jerky.
He is married to Seattle actress Heather Hawkins, and has two children.
He has worked as the audio lead in all Bungie Halo games.[1][2][3][4][5] He also provided his voice for Pascal, one of the officers onboard the Template:UNSCship in Halo 2 and Halo 2: Anniversary.
