The COG sight is a sight used on UNSC weapons.
The COG sight is able to show the shield and health of enemies in game. The shielding level will only be shown on targets possessing full body shield systems, as Sangheili shielding will show up on the COG's display, whereas a Kig-Yar arm mounted shield gauntlet, will not. Additionally, targets in the COG's line of sight will be surrounded with a red outline, akin to the VISR system used by Orbital Drop Shock Troopers.[1]
