Proclamation's Tithe: Difference between revisions

The ''Proclamation's Tithe'' was sent to intercept the {{UNSCShip|Spirit of Fire}} after its arrival inside [[Shield 0459]]. Despite attempted evasive maneuvers, the two ships collided, causing significant damage to the ''Spirit of Fire'', including destroying a portion of its supply of [[D20 Heron]]s, while minimal damage was done to the destroyer, due in part to its shields. The two ships soon opened fire on each other, the destroyer quickly destroying many of the ''Spirit of Fire's'' deck guns.<ref name="freefall"/> It soon sent out [[Type-26 Ground Support Aircraft|Banshees]] and [[Type-28 Troop Carrier|Spirits]] to continue the assault and destroy the ''Spirit of Fire''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s damaged power core. However, the ''Spirit of Fire'', despite the heavy assault, managed to repair its power core and escape.<ref name="repairs"/>

The valor and sacrifice of the destroyer's crew would not go unrewarded. Upon the [[Prophet of Regret]]'s return to [[High Charity]], the names of each crew member – whether living or dead – were restored to the rolls of honor within the Covenant archives.<ref name="CF"/>
