Template:Realworld Joyride Studios is a company that produces Action Figures. It has been operation for over 55 years and has produced a wide array of collectors items, ranging from James Bond cars to Mech Warrior and Battlestar Galactica feature action figures.
In 2003, Joyride Studios linked up with Bungie Studios to create several Halo themed Action Figures for Halo: Combat Evolved. Its original three figures; Master Chief v1, Cortana, and Warthog v1 were instant sucesses, both on E-Bay and in video game stores. Their sucess propted more developments. In all, 5 series with 29 different Action Figures were released. In addition, seven more "exclusive" figures were released in select stores at select times. The lack of avaliablility caused some of these figures to go up in price, sometimes into thousands of dollars.
For Halo 2, the Company has produced eight series with 41 total action figures. In addition, 22 exclusives have been made. The releases of the figures coencided with release of details about the game, as a Master Chief figure featuring two guns was released shortly after the Dual Wielding feature was announced, and the Brute action figure became avaliable only after the Brutes' role in the game was revealed.
In one of the Halo 3 FAQs, Frankie stated that it is "safe to assume" that Bungie and Joyride Studios will work together again to develop action figures for Halo 3.
