When firing from the hip, the Plasma Caster shoots balls of plasma in a slight arc, which can bounce off objects before detonating. While aiming down the sights(ADS), the Plasma Caster's side panels deploy out wards, firing a single charged shot which yields a larger explosion with more range compared to the previous firing mode.
