Cryptic Whisper is the third track included in the second disc of the Halo 2 Anniversary Original Soundtrack. It is the remastered version of Destroyer's Invocation from Mausoleum Suite in the Halo 2: Original Soundtrack. Its name alludes to the reverse message found in the two music pieces.

Hidden Message

When the track is played backwards, a hidden message can be heard.[1] Even if the mysterious voice belongs to a Gravemind, the message alludes to the Ur-Didact.
