Breaking the Covenant is the first track included in the second disc of the Halo 2 Anniversary Original Soundtrack. In-game, it replaces the Blow Me Away from the Halo 2: Original Soundtrack. Its name alludes to the band that performed Blow Me Away, and to Ezekiel 17:18, "He despised the oath by breaking the covenant."
