Captain de Blanc was a UNSC officer during the early-mid stages of the Human-Covenant War. He participated at the Battle of Jericho VII.
Biography
By February 2535, he was of the commanding officer of the destroyer UNSC Resolute. After SPARTAN-IIs had decimated Covenant ground forces for three brutal days on Jericho VII, De Blanc ordered their evacuation as the UNSC fleet had lost the fight in orbit. De Blanc took the Spartans aboard Resolute before the Covenant fleet bombarded the planet. At the request of then-Chief Petty Officer John-117, he allowed the ship to remain in the system for a few hours so that the Spartan could watch the glassing of yet another Human colony with his own eyes.
