(The merge is somewhat questionable given that we don't know if the entity only mentioned in 22nd-century context still exists in the "modern" era, but I suppose it's better than two articles about the same thing.) |

The Unified German Republic was a political entity on Earth, and one of the national governments which colonized the Jovian Moons system in the late 21st and early 22nd centuries.[1] The Unified German Republic's various corporations based on the moons suffered from constant "workers' crusades" perpetrated by the neo-communist Koslovics, and supported the Jovian-based rebel Frieden movement as a result. As a result of this the moons became a major war zone during the Jovian Moons Campaign.
The Beweglichkeitsrüstungsysteme, an important UNSC research facility crucial to the development of several MJOLNIR armor components and variants, is located on Essen, a city in the center of the Ruhr Area in North Rhine-Westphalia of Germany.
Similar to a number of other Earth nations, Germany is occasionally referred to by the endonym Deutschland as of the 26th century.[2]
