Meaning of FC-I[2]
I think FC-I[2] stands for Field Commander-Improved [2nd generation]. Anyone else agree with that? Solokiller 08:09, 1 January 2011 (EST)
- Well there's no way of proving it so we can't put it in the article, but that does sound like a good explanation. pestilence Phil, pestilence! 12:03, 1 January 2011 (EST)
- We can't prove it, but Field Commander is definitly a good idea :) Alex T Snow 08:03, 2 January 2011 (EST)
Advantages/Purpose
I understand Bungie adding the armor from an aesthetic point of view, but why would this armor even exist? All the other armor has some innate purpose, but this looks almost like the pilot's helmet in Halo 3. The helmet might offer a jack-of-all-trades advantage, but the shoulders would be cumbersome and block the wearer's view. It looks more like a sign of rank than an actually useful piece of armor. Lastly, what is that blue screen on the left chest pouch of the ASSAULT/COMMANDO chest? I think it might be a radio or something, but does anyone have an idea of what it is? --Delta1138 SnooPING AS usual I see 12:42, 8 April 2011 (EDT)
Original "Commando"
The original Commando was more an Ad Hoc modification to the MJOLNIR suit, and then we have the Grenadier ("basic" Mark IV) helmet and its included upgrades. Could Grenadiers second upgrade be the original "Commando"? Thanks if there's a response... --SpartanS36 (talk) 23:04, 28 October 2013 (EDT)
