I think it must be digital because it gets added to over time. MAC orbital platforms didn't exist until Eric Nylund thought them up for TFoR, and now they're part of the universe. --Dragonclaws(talk) 22:18, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

I'm not so sure about the existence of it considering that the Halo 2 bonus disc, which came with the collectors edition of Halo 2, reveals that Halo 2 was supposed to be the conclusion and that there were 10 levels that took you out into the universe and back, but Bungie eventually scrapped it.

Rest assured, it has been mentioned many times and it exists. --ED(talk)(shockfront) 16:45, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

A question...[edit]

Did you guys add HSB-content from H:CE:SOS&S into the articles?--SWME 18:47, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

halo[edit]

What does it mean when you say that "you seen the halo around your head and your smile. But, I did not know you were so unhappy.71.188.117.96 16:32, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Sharlene

Doubtful[edit]

It's hard to denie that this "Halo bible" actualy exists, considering what fans call "Alterings" and critics call "A broken canon" when Reach was interduced. Atlas Tasume 12:12 20/03-2011 GMT +1

What these people forget is that Eric wouldn't have been allowed to read all of it - errors could easily have taken place. Another thing people forget is that large portions of Halo: The Fall of Reach have been contradicted by later games and novels, rendering absolute trust in the novel poor - people still use the book as a reason to denounce a lot of later entries as non-canon, like:
  • The Flood - John having a different personality
  • The Cole Protocol - featured Sangheili before 2552
  • Halo Wars - same charge
  • Halo Wars: Genesis - Featuring a Sangheili prisoner before 2552
  • Contact Harvest - Introducing the Jiralhanae in 2525
  • Ghosts of Onyx - ONI being aware of the Sangheili in the '30s
  • Halo: Reach - The Sangheili being already known along with the Jiralhanae.

The events in the novel are canon, though they should not be trusted word-for-word. It was inevitable for a ten-year old novel belonging to a series written by a number of authors.-- Forerunner 13:37, 20 March 2011 (EDT)
