The BA-53635/PLMD is an integrated non-replaceable battery for the Spartan Laser weapon.[1] Due to considerable power consumption, the BA-53635/PLMD battery can be fully drained in several shots. The battery can be recharged by a PP-16979/AM-Sh recharger, a piece of equipment that is not fielded often due to logistic issues.
By the year 2557, the BA-53635 had been replaced by the Series 6971 battery cell. [2]
