For the Covenant artillery weapon encountered in Halo 2, see Covenant artillery.
This unidentified Covenant artillery was a weapon emplacement used by the post-war Covenant.[1]
Design
This artillery fired three rounds per volley. Each piece of artillery relied upon two conduits to keep from overloading. Once the conduits were destroyed, upon the artillery's next firing it would explode.
Operational history
During the Second Battle of Requiem in 2558, the Covenant used three of this artillery to fire on Fireteam Majestic. Fireteams Crimson and Kodiak were sent in to destroy the artillery. Upon discovering they were shielded, Crimson destroyed the two conduits near each of them. Once the conduits were destroyed, the artillery overloaded and detonated.
